Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
Immigrant youth leaders called on the Obama Administration to provide protection for young people. Although DACA has never been enough and does not provide a path to Lawful Permanent Residency or citizenship, DACA is a renewable protection against deportation.

TEMPORARY PROTECTED STATUS
TPS is a renewable protection against deportation for people from designated countries.
